Vica Miller is a native of St. Petersburg (Russia) and has been a New Yorker for over 25 years. George Plimpton called her a writer, and she believed him. Her first novel, INGA’S ZIGZAGS, was published on May 14, 2014 by Ladno Books. 

Vica is the founder of the Vica Miller Literary Salons, a chamber reading series held at private NYC galleries. She's written for Vogue Russia and Tennis Week magazines and her short stories have appeared in LitroNY, The Jet Fuel ReviewAsymptoteThe Linnet's Wings, and Thrice Fiction literary journals. 

Vica is a veteran of the communications industry and a recognized expert in public relations. For 15 years she has served as a SVP of Global Communications for a leading technology firm (2,700 employees across 21 offices in 10 countries). Prior to that she ran her own consulting firm, served as Director of Marketing and Advertising for the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament and was among the online music pioneers at Sonicnet (now MTVi). She has launched and taught a New Media course at Hunter College (CUNY) where she also taught Public Relations. Vica holds a Master's degree from ITP - Interactive Telecommunications Program - at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, is an MLA candidate in Social Psychology at Harvard Extension School and an outside researcher at the Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN) Lab at Columbia University.

Vica is an excellent swimmer, a beginner paraglider and a mother of two. She's also a big fan of burlesque and has synesthesia, which makes her life full of color. Her second novel and a collection of short stories is being considered for representation.
